材料系（工学研究科 材料システム専攻）
薄板の熱処理や冷却に関する研究に取り組んでいます。
材料は熱処理や冷却によって組織や材質が大きく変化します。
またこれらは板の形状にも大きく影響することがあり、材質と形状どちらも満足するような条件の提案を目指しています。
一言にステンレスと言っても用途により様々な性質を持たせることができ、身の回りで多くの物に用いられているところに魅力を感じました。
その中で会社説明等を通して、若手を始めとする人材の育成に力を入れていると感じた点が決め手となりました。
自分がその会社に入社し、働いている姿をイメージすることが難しかったです。
もし自分が入社したらどのような仕事をしていくのかを意識しながら会社説明会や工場見学等に参加していました。
上司や先輩方に相談しやすい雰囲気があるところです。
また仕事や勉強会等を通して自分自身が成長できる環境があるなと感じます。
車で山口県内や福岡にドライブに行ったりしています。
山口には日本海側にも瀬戸内海側にも景色の綺麗なスポットが多くあるため、次にどこに行くか計画するのも楽しいです。
